Attaching a Print Layout File

You create a print layout file using a third party application such as Microsoft® Word or Excel. You then attached this file to a custom print layout in Proliance, where it can be used to print custom reports. For more information, see "About Custom Print Layouts".

You can attach a print layout file at any time. If there is already a layout file attached, the new file replaces the old file.

Note: It is very important that every custom print layout contains a layout file, otherwise the custom print layout will not work when you select it.

To attach a print layout file

1. Open the Custom Print Layouts register.
2. Select the custom print layout to which you are attaching the print layout file.
3. Click Edit.
4. On the Main page, in the File Information section, click the Upload File icon and then browse for the print layout file to attach.
5. Click Attach to confirm that you want to attach the print layout file, then click OK.

Proliance attaches the file to the custom print layout.
