Deleting a Portfolio

You can delete portfolios that are no longer in use from the Organization work area. After a portfolio is deleted, no user will be able to access it from the Portfolios work area. When you delete a portfolio, any of its remaining workspaces in the Draft, Completed or Canceled workflow states are also deleted.

Proliance will NOT allow you to delete a portfolio in the following circumstances:

To delete portfolios, your security role must have permission to delete portfolio properties and workspaces. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

To delete a portfolio

  1. Open the Portfolio Properties register from the Organization work area.
  2. Select the check box next to the portfolio you wish to delete and click Delete.
  3. — or —

    Open the workspace you wish to delete and click Delete The Delete button..

  4. Click Yes when Proliance prompts you to confirm.
  5. The portfolio is deleted along with any of its Completed or Canceled workspaces.
