Working with Line Item Lists

Proliance provides a basic set of features that you can use to customize the display of line item lists in both read and edit mode. You can:

Lists

View the total number of items in a list at the bottom right of the list area. This box is read-only.
See the most current list values by clicking the Refresh Grid Data button .

Rows

Expand the height of a row to see more information in each cell by clicking .
Reduce the height of a row to see more information in the grid at once by clicking .

Columns

Resize a column in a list by holding the mouse pointer over the border in the column's header until the pointer looks like this: . Then hold down the mouse button and drag the border to make the column wider or narrower.
Sort by values in a column by clicking a column header. An arrow appears in the column header to indicate whether it is sorting ascending to descending, or vice versa.
Change the position of columns in the list by clicking on the column's header. Holding the mouse button down, drag horizontally towards where you want to move the column. The column header appears halfway down the grid tinted blue, and a grey line appears above the blue header. Continue dragging until the grey line appears in the position that you want to move the column into, then release the button.
View a subset of columns by clicking in the Display Columns box and selecting a value other than All.

Tip:

To navigate among fields quickly in a grid, use the up, down, left or right arrow keys. To move quickly along a single row, use the TAB key.
To select all the rows in a list at once, click the checkbox in the header of the checkbox column, located on the left side of the grid. If you wish to select none of the rows, click the checkbox to select them all, then click it again to clear all the checkboxes at once.
To see more of the line item at once, maximize the document window to fill up the entire screen.
