Copying a Lookup Version

When you want to create a new lookup version, it may be quicker to simply duplicate an existing lookup version and then edit it.

The copied version is an exact duplicate of the original, except that "Copy of" is added to the lookup version's title.    

ClosedTo copy a lookup version

  1. Open the Lookup Lists register for shared workspaces from the Portfolios work area.
  2. Select the lookup that contains the version to copy.
  3. The Lookup Version Manager appears.

  4. On the Lookup Versions tab, select the check box next to the version you want to copy.
  5. Click Copy.
  6. Proliance creates a duplicate of version and opens the Lookup Editor. This copy is identical to the original, except "Copy of" is added to the title and the fact that it's not linked to any workspace.  

Note:

  • It is possible to create lookup versions only for portfolio lookups. Organization and workspace lookups have only the one predefined version.
