Setting the Primary Location

From the Locations tab in the Organization work area, you can select one location to be the primary location of an org company, business unit, or external company. Setting the primary location removes the primary status from any other location in the company.

To set the primary location, your security role must have permission to update locations. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

To set the primary location

  1. Open the Locations tab of the appropriate company in the Organization work area.
  2. The list of locations for the company appears.

  3. Select the check box next to the location you wish to set as primary.
  4. Click Set As Primary.
  5. Proliance marks the selected location as primary.
