About the Contacts Tab

The Contacts tab displays a list of contacts for a company.

You can open this tab using either of the work areas described below, but keep in mind that the contacts displayed may differ depending on the work area:

ClosedFrom the Organization work area

When opened from a Vendor Company in the Organization work area, the Contacts tab displays all the contact people for an external company. These contacts may or may not by involved in your company's workspaces.

Changes made to a contact in this tab are automatically synchronized in any workspaces to which that contact has been added.

ClosedFrom the Portfolio work area

When opened from a Company in the Workspaces work area, the Contacts tab displays the selected company's contacts that have been added to the workspace.

The following table lists the specialized commands available on the Contacts tab. For more information about the standard commands available on the Contacts tab, see "Proliance Registers". Available commands are determined by the permissions in your security role. 

Specialized commands on the Contacts tab Command

Set the selected contact to be the primary contact within the company, removing the primary status from any other contact in the company.

Set as Primary

Add selected contacts to a workspace.

This option is available in the Organization work area and is located under Tools.
