About Bid Invitation Addenda

When a package addendum is issued, a Bid Invitation Addendum document is created for each bidder in the package's bidder list that has accepted their invitation. The Bid Invitation Addenda document is intended to be viewed by the bidder when they log in to Proliance in response to a notification about a pending invitation addendum.

All addenda for an invitation must be acknowledged by the bidder before the bidder can submit their proposal. If a proposal has been submitted before an addendum is issued, the proposal is set to the Pending state and the bidder must update and/or re-submit the proposal.

Only select fields on the Bid Invitation Addendum document can be updated by bidders: Title, Number, Brief Description, Full Description and Notes. All other fields are read-only for bidders. An invitation addenda's information is grouped under the following pages:

• Main: This page contains the Synopsis field that summarizes the changes made to the invitation. For more information, see "Bid Invitations Addenda - Main".
• Properties: Contains the attributes of the document, such as the author of the document, and the date in which the document was created. For more information, see "Document Properties".

Additional invitation addenda information is also available on the following tabs:

• Project: Lists the projects the invitation addendum is linked to. All information on this tab is read only and is synchronized with the Project tab on the parent package. This tab does not appear if no projects exist in the workspace.

• Workflow: Enables you to see where the document is in its lifecycle, who has already performed actions on the document, and who will receive notification when the document changes to a specific state. For more information, see "Workflow tab".
• Activity Log: Records all the activities related to the invitation addendum, such as when it was saved, imported, exported, forwarded, or received. For more information, see "Activity Log tab".
• Attachments: Contains a list of other documents related to this invitation addendum. For more information, see "Attachments Tab".
