Deleting a Drawing or Submittal

You can delete any revision of a drawing or submittal if it is no longer required. If a revision has been added to a package, that revision cannot be deleted while the package is in the In Review state.

Your security role must have permission to delete the appropriate document. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

You can delete a revision from either of the following places:

From the register: Use this method to quickly delete several revisions at the same time.
From the document: Use this method when you need to verify the revision before deleting it.
From the Revisions tab: Use this method to quickly delete multiple revisions from different drawings or submittals at once.

Note:

When you delete a revision, any file (Source or Presentation) that was attached to it is also removed from Proliance.
If a revision has been added to a package, deleting the revision also removes the package row corresponding to that revision.
Proliance does not renumber the revisions after a deletion, so it is possible to have gaps in the revision numbers of a drawing or submittals after deletion. You can eliminate the gaps by editing the Revision Number; however, the system revision number cannot be changed
