Transmittal - Transmittal Items

The Transmittal Items page of a transmittal document lists the items included in the transmittal.

The following grid columns are populated when you add an item to the transmittal, and the latter six from 'Purpose' onward are editable.

• Accepted Revision Number: The user revision number of the Accepted revision of the drawing or submittal. If no revision has been accepted yet, the column is blank.
• Action Required: What action is required of the superseded document (the previous version sent).
  This may for example instruct the recipients to either 'Destroy', 'Return' or 'Acknowledge Only' a document that has been superseded by a new revision.
  The field is populated via a lookup, which is user defined.
• Categorization Code: This field can be used to categorize any Transmittal Item and is populated by using a user defined lookup.
• Confirmed: 'Yes' / 'No' field stating whether the specified action has been carried out for the relevant Transmittal item.
  The default value for this field for a new Transmittal Item is 'No'.
• Confirmed Date: The date when the specified action was carried out.
  This field remains empty until populated by the user.
   
• Confirmed Notes: Any relevant notes regarding the action required or performed on the Transmittal Item.
  This field remains empty until populated by the user.
   
• Document Number: A string of characters that identifies the particular drawing or submittal revision.
• Document Type: Indicates whether the transmittal item is a drawing or a submittal.
• Latest Revision Number: The user revision number for the most recent revision of the drawing or submittal.
• Purpose: Instructions for the document recipient as to the purpose of the document.
  The data in this field for each Transmittal Item is initially defaulted from the Purpose field on the Main tab if one exists, but each item can be populated with different value derived from a lookup.
  When a new Transmittal Item is created by copying and pasting an existing Transmittal Item with no Purpose field populated, the data in the Purpose field on the Main tab will not be copied into it and it will remain empty.
• Title: The name of the drawing or submittal revision.
• User Revision Number: The user-defined revision number for the drawing or submittal.
