This section lists the taxes that are used in this
tax rule. Note that you can only use the same workspace tax once for each
tax rule.
Enter edit mode to do the following:
- To add a workspace
tax, click Add Line to select
the entry to add.
- To remove a workspace
tax, select the check box next to the line to remove and then click Remove Line.
Each workspace tax is defined below:
- Tax
Code: Select from the drop-down list the code of the workspace tax
to be used in this tax rule.
- Description: Displays a
description of the tax rule.
- Tax Type: Indicates whether the workspace tax is
a committing or non-committing tax.
- Tax Rate: By default, it displays the workspace
tax rate. You can change this rate for the purpose of the tax rule. Any
changes will not affect the workspace tax.
- Applies
To: Select from the drop-down list
whether this tax applies to the base amount independent of any other tax
in the tax rule, or to the base amount and all the workspace taxes that
are listed earlier in the Workspace Tax
List sequence.
