Workspace Properties - Languages

The Languages page of the Workspace Properties document displays a list of languages that can be displayed in the workspace. When a user accesses the workspace, the system will display label text according to the top-most ranked language from the user's My Preferences dialog that exists in this Workspace language list. If there is no match between a users preferred languages and the languages available in the workspace, the default language for the workspace will by displayed.

Only those languages that are available in the parent Portfolio can be added to the list of languages for the Workspace.

To add a language to a Workspace

1. In the Portfolio work area, under Workspaces and Projects, click Workspaces.
2. In the Workspace Properties register, click a Portfolio Properties document.
3. On the Portfolio Properties document, click the Languages page.
4. On the Languages page, click Edit.
5. Click Add Line.
6. In the Languages selection dialog, select one or more languages in the left pane and move them to the right pane using the right arrow.
7. Click OK.

To set a default language for a Workspace

1. In the Portfolio work area, under Workspaces and Projects, click Workspaces.
2. In the Workspace Properties register, click a Portfolio Properties document.
3. On the Portfolio Properties document, click the Languages page.
4. On the Languages page, click Edit.
5. In the Languages dialog, in the Default Language column, select a language as a default.
6. Click OK.
