Configuring Language Preferences

On the Product Language tab, you can choose the languages in which you prefer to see label text for such things as menus, column headings and field names. You can rank your preferred languages by moving them up or down in the selected language list. The language that is highest priority is shown at the top of the list. If matched by the supported languages in the work area, the top-ranked preferred languages will be displayed.

If no language preference is selected, Proliance will automatically set the display language to the default language for the work area.

To select preferred languages

1. Click the My Preferences button on the upper right side of the window near the Help button.
2. In the My Preferences dialog, click the Product Language tab.
3. On the Product Languages tab, in the left selection pane, select one or more languages as your preferred languages.
4. Click the right arrow to move your selections into the right selection pane. The selected items are moved to the right-hand pane.
5. Click OK.

To rank preferred languages

1. Select a language in the right pane.
2. Click the up or down arrows to move the selected language up or down in the list.
