The Distribution Lists document can have several states in Proliance. Each state indicates where the document is in its life cycle in Proliance. When you perform workflow actions on the document, the state of the document changes accordingly.

A new distribution list document is still in progress. It is not yet complete or ready for activation. |

Active |
The document has been activated and is ready for use. The typical distribution list document remains in this state for most of its life cycle. |

Inactive |
The document has been deactivated and should not be used. You can reactivate an inactive document at any time. This places the document back into the Active state. |
