Packages Dialog Box

Use the Drawing Packages or Submittal Packages dialog boxes to select the approval packages to be added to the current document.

This dialog box displays the following controls:

• View:Choose a view by which you can filter the search results. Click Manage Views to manage your collection of views.
• Search:Type the characters to locate and click Find. The dialog box will refresh to display only matching items. Click Reset to reset the search and display all items again. Keep the following in mind when searching:
  • Proliance will attempt to match the search text to any of the columns visible. To search only a specific column, you need to create and apply a new view that contains only the column that you want to search.
  • Unless wildcards are used, Proliance seeks an exact match. For example, searching for John Smith will find John Smith but not John Smithe. Searching only for John or Smith will not find John Smith.
  • Use the wildcard character '%' to broaden your search. This wildcard can represent any number of characters. For example, searching for John% will find John Smith, John Smithe, and anyone else with a name beginning with John. However, you will need to search for %John% to locate names like Robert John Smith. Similarly, searching for %Smith will locate everyone with Smith as their last name.
• New:Click this to create a new package, if you cannot find the one that you are looking for. Click "Refresh" when the new package is created to see it in the results list.
