The Main page contains detailed information about the correspondence. This information is grouped under the following headings. The correspondence document needs to be in edit mode before you can modify the fields.
The Project section displays a simplified version of the information available on the Projects tab. Use this section to quickly view a list of projects currently linked to the document, and to create, read and delete project links in edit mode. Information displayed in the project section is also available on the Projects tab, and any changes you make in the Project section is synchronized with the Projects tab.

Using the Project section, you can set the current document's project linking status to:
Select to remove all project links for the current document. You can only remove project links if you have the appropriate role security permissions, and your contact document has a link to the same projects.
Select to display a box where you can enter a single project link for the current document. Click the Magnifying Glass icon
Select to display a box where you can enter multiple project links for the current document. Click the Magnifying Glass icon
Select to link the current document to all projects within the current workspace.
The current status of project linking is displayed in the section header so that you can quickly scan project status with all the sections on the Main page collapsed. The document must be in edit mode before you can update information in the Project section.
Indicates the current workflow state
of the correspondence.
Type a string of characters that uniquely identifies this correspondence,
or leave it blank if Proliance is configured to supply one. You can configure
the format of this number by using Proliance
Local Admin. For details, refer to "Editing the Number Format"
in the Proliance Local Admin online help.
Type either the subject or title of the correspondence document.
Type a memo that describes this correspondence. For example, you can
include the details of a phone conversation or the memo that was sent
to the company.

The "Email From" field is designed to allow you to enter the
'Sender's' email address when recording details of an email message that
you wish to record in this Correspondence document.
The "Email To" field is designed to allow you to enter the
email addresses of all recipients found in the "To:" field of
an email message that you wish to record in this Correspondence document.
The "Email Cc" field is designed to allow you to enter the
email addresses of all recipients found in the "Cc:" field of
an email message that you wish to record in this Correspondence document.
Type a general evaluation of the conversation or message.
Type your subjective notes for this correspondence.
Click the Calendar icon
Select from the drop-down list the urgency of this document.
Select from the drop-down list the type of correspondence. Examples
of a correspondence type include faxes, letters, and phone conversations.
The values on this list can be different for each workspace and are determined
by your document template.
Select from the drop-down list the specific topic to which the correspondence
applies. The values on this list are determined by your document template.
This section lists the categories that are affected by the correspondence. The values that you can choose from are determined by your workspacetemplate.

This section lists the areas or zones affected by the correspondence. Examples of areas/zones include: First Floor, Area A, Zone B.
