Deleting a Bond

You can delete a bond from a company defined in either the Organization or Workspaces work area if the bond is no longer held by the company or is no longer relevant to a workspace or portfolio. To delete a bond, your security role in the appropriate work area must have permission to delete insurance policies. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

You can delete a bond from either of the following places:

Note: Deleting a bond from the Organization work area does not remove it from any workspaces to which it was added.

To delete a bond

  1. Open the Bonds tab of the appropriate company.

  2. Select the check box next to the bonds you wish to delete and click Delete.

  3. — or —

    Open the bond document you wish to delete and click Delete The delete button..

  4. Click Yes when Proliance prompts you to confirm.

The bond is deleted.

Tip:

  • Instead of deleting a bond, you may wish to simply deactivate it. This changes the state of the bond to Inactive, which allows you to reactivate it later or to permanently delete it if you choose. For more information, see "Bond Workflow Actions".
