Bid History - Main
The Main page of
an Bid History document contains
detailed information about how a company fared on a particular bid, such
as the bid rank and RFQ information.
The company for which you are viewing bid history information
is displayed at the top of the page, next to the label Company.
You can click on the company name to view detailed information about the
company.
Information about a bid is grouped under the following sections.
The bid history document needs to be in edit mode before you can modify
the fields.
General
- Base Bid Amount: Enter the value of the bid before it was evaluated by your organization.
- Bid Notes: Type any notes about the company's quotation, usually written by your
organization's evaluator.
- Bid Package
Number: Enter the number assigned to the bid package by your organization.
- Bid Rank: Type the rank of the company's bid in relation to the total number of
companies that submitted bids.
- Current State: Indicates the state of the Bid History document.
- Description: Type a description of the bid.
- Name: Type the name of the bid. The Name
is required.
- Number: Type a string of characters that uniquely identifies this bid history
entry, or leave it blank if Proliance is configured to supply one. You
can configure
the format of this number by using Proliance
Local Admin. For details, refer to the Proliance Local Admin on-line help.

Details
- No Response: Select Yes or No to indicate whether a response was received from the
company in response to the bid quotation.
- Name: Type the name of the workspace in the quotation.
- Number: Type the number of the workspace in the quotation.
- Quote Received From: Type the name of the person who provided the quote.
- RFQ Required Date: Select the date when the quotation is due.
- RFQ Scope: Type a description of the scope of the quotation.
- RFQ Sent Date: Select the date when the Request for Quote was sent.
- RFQ Sent To: Type the name of person to whom the Request for Quote was sent.
- Scoped Value: Enter the value of the bid after it was evaluated by your organization.
This value is used to compare with other bids for the same scope of work.
