Adding Bidders to a Bid Package

You can add bidders to a package by selecting an active company from among the companies currently in your address book. Once you have selected a company to receive a package, you can then select the particular contact in the company who will receive the invitation. Contacts that receive an invitation must have an active account.

Tip

  • You can add a bidder to the bidders list after the package has been issued. In this case, an invitation and any associated addenda will be made available to the bidder when you save the package.

To add a bidder to a package

  1. Open the Bid Package register.
  2. Open a bid package.
  3. Click Bidders List.
  4. On the Bidders List page, click Edit.
  5. Click Add. The Companies dialog displays.
  6. Click Add next to the name of the item you wish to select.
  7. The item is moved to the list at the bottom. To cancel the selection of an entry, click Remove next to the item's name.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Proliance closes the dialog box and the selected company is inserted into the Bidders List grid.
  10. In the Contact column for the selected company, accept the default contact or enter another active Proliance user as the contact who will receive the package.
  11. Click Save.
