About the Drawings/Submittals Register

The Drawings and Submittals registers lists all of your workspace's drawings or submittals. Each of the columns displayed in this register shows information taken from any of the drawings or  submittals pages. The columns displayed depend on the current view.

Note: You cannot create a new revision of a document from this register. New revisions are created from the Revisions tab of the drawing/submittal. For more information, see "About the Revisions Tab".

The following table summarizes the actions available in each register. These actions are determined by the permissions of your security role.

From each register, you can...  

Create a batch of new documents using the Drawings/Submittals Creation Wizard.

This option is located under Tools.

Drawings Creation Wizard

Download all selected attachments.

This option is located under Tools, while "Open As" is anything other than Document.

Batch Download

Download all selected attachments as a zip file.

This option is located under Tools, while "Open As" is Source File or Presentation File.

Download Zip File..

Add the selected document(s) to one or more set(s).

This option is located under Tools.

Add Drawings to Set

Tip:

  • Use the Open As drop-down list to see only those drawings or submittals that have file attachments and to quickly view the attachments:
    • Document: Displays all drawing/submittal revisions, regardless of file attachments. Selecting a revision will open the drawing/submittal document.
    • Source File: Displays only drawing/submittal revisions that have a Source file attachment. Selecting a revision will open the Source file using the registered application on your computer. If you computer is unable to open the attachment, try using the Brava! - Source File option instead.
    • Presentation File: Displays only drawing/submittal revisions that have a Presentation file attachment. Selecting a revision will open the Presentation file using the registered application on your computer. If your computer is unable to open the attachment, try using the Brava! - Presentation File option instead.
    • Brava! - Source File: Displays only drawing/submittal revisions that have a Source version file attachment. Selecting a revision will open the Source file using the Brava!™ viewer. If Brava! is unable to open the attachment, try using the Source File option instead.
    • Brava - Presentation File: Displays only card revisions that have a Presentation file attachment. Selecting a revision will open the Presentation file using the Brava!™ viewer. If Brava! is unable to open the attachment, try using the Presentation File option instead.
