Copying a Transmittal

You can duplicate an existing transmittal to quickly create a new transmittal. The copy is an exact duplicate of the original transmittal, except for the Title, Number, State and Sent Date. There is no relation between the original and copy—changes to one do not affect the other.

To copy a transmittal

  1. Open the Transmittals register.
  2. Select the transmittal that will be the source of the copy.
  3. Click Options > Copy to New.
  4. Proliance creates a new transmittal document based on the existing one. The new transmittal is in the Draft state.

  5. Make the necessary edits to the document. Please refer to the following for more information on the fields for each page:
  6. Click Save.
  7. Proliance saves the document. Click Exit edit mode when done.
