Filtering Tips
Each document information label in a filter is known as
a field. The type of information
that a field contains determines which values and conditions are available
for use in a filter statement.
There are two types of filter statement:
Simple filter statement:
A simple filter statement acts on a single field from each
document.
For example, a simple filter statement for contracts might
specify that Proliance should only display documents that have been created
on or after May 25th, 2003.
Compound
filter statement:
A compound filter statement is composed of two or more simple
filter statements, combined through the use of operators.
For example, a compound filter statement for RFIs might specify
that Proliance should only display Active documents for which the Answer Sent Date is not tomorrow OR
which are in the Draft state.
