The Workspace Properties document can have several states in Proliance. Each state indicates where the document is in its life cycle in Proliance. When you perform workflow actions on the document, the state of the document changes accordingly.
State |
Description |
|
---|---|---|
1 |
Draft |
Indicates that a new workspace has not been saved as a potential workspace. A Draft workspace is visible only from the Organization work area. You cannot add users to a workspace in this state. Note: This is the only state in which you can modify workspace properties from the Organization work area. Once the workspace moves out of the Draft state, you need to use the Workspaces work area to make modifications or to change the workflow state. |
2 |
Potential |
Indicates that the workspace has not been approved yet. Organizations typically create a new workspace in Proliance that may result in a potential workspace. These workspaces remain in the Potential state until they are approved or accepted. You can choose to pursue this workspace via negotiations or via bidding. |
3 |
In Procurement
|
Indicates that your company is currently investing its resources to pursue this workspace. |
4 |
Active |
Indicates that your company has a contract for the workspace and working is in progress. A typical workspace document remains in this state for most of its life cycle. |
5 |
Pending Completion |
Indicates that the workspace is almost complete and responsible participants are preparing it for its final completion. |
6 |
Completed |
Indicates that the workspace is complete. The company has finished investing its resources in this workspace. |
7 |
Canceled |
Indicates that the workspace was either canceled before it was pursued (or while it was being pursued), or it was awarded to a competitor. |
