The Portfolio Properties document can have several states in Proliance. Each state indicates where the document is in its life cycle in the system. When you perform workflow actions on the document, the state of the document changes accordingly.
State |
Description |
---|---|
Draft |
Indicates that the portfolio is not ready for use and has not yet been activated. While the Portfolio Properties document is in Draft state, you cannot add users to the portfolio, access it from the Portfolios work area, or create workspaces for the portfolio. This is the only state in which you can modify portfolio details from the Organization work area. |
Active |
Indicates that work on the portfolio has begun and you can now add users to the portfolio, access it from the Portfolios work area, and create workspaces for the portfolio. Once the Portfolio Properties document is in the Active state, you can only modify portfolio details from the Portfolios work area. You cannot reset an Active portfolio to the Draft state. |
