Editing Lookup Items

You can edit any lookup item in a lookup list. For example, you wish to change the default description of a code to make it more appropriate for your business.

Edits to a lookup item are available immediately to other Proliance users.

To edit a lookup item

  1. Open the Lookup Editor for the appropriate lookup type or lookup version.
  2. Click the Items tab.
  3. In the tree list at the left, select the item to edit.
  4. Modify the Code, Description Sort Value or Disabled box as appropriate.
  5. For more information, see "Lookup Editor - Items Tab".

  6. Click Save.
  7. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to edit additional items.

Note:

  • Edits to a lookup item are reflected even if the item is already in use in a document. For example, if the category code FIS used in an RFI was changed to FIN, then FIN will appear the next time the RFI is opened.
