The Deficiency's Main page contains general information about the actual deficiency, such as its description, location, reference drawings, and associated contacts.
The following fields summarize the content of the deficiency. The Deficiency document needs to be in edit mode before you can modify the fields. Deficiency attributes are grouped under the following sections:
Displays the title of the deficiency. You
can change the title in the Details
section.
Indicates the current state
of the deficiency.
A string of characters that uniquely identifies the deficiency within
the workspace. You can edit the number in the Details
section.
Displays the number of uncompleted action
items in this deficiency.
Displays the level of importance of the deficiency. You can change the
priority in the Classification/Location
section.
Indicates the contact who reported the deficiency. You
can change this contact in the Initiating
Party section.
Displays the date that work on the deficiency should finish. You can
change the due date in the Date Tracking
section of the Resolution page.
Indicates the contact responsible for following up on the deficiency.
You can change this contact in the Responsible
Party section.
The Project section displays a simplified version of the information available on the Projects tab. Use this section to quickly view a list of projects currently linked to the document, and to create, read and delete project links in edit mode. Information displayed in the project section is also available on the Projects tab, and any changes you make in the Project section is synchronized with the Projects tab.

Using the Project section, you can set the current document's project linking status to:
Select to remove all project links for the current document. You can only remove project links if you have the appropriate role security permissions, and your contact document has a link to the same projects.
Select to display a box where you can enter a single project link for the current document. Click the Magnifying Glass icon
Select to display a box where you can enter multiple project links for the current document. Click the Magnifying Glass icon
Select to link the current document to all projects within the current workspace.
The current status of project linking is displayed in the section header so that you can quickly scan project status with all the sections on the Main page collapsed. The document must be in edit mode before you can update information in the Project section.
Type a string of characters that uniquely identifies this deficiency,
or leave it blank if Proliance is configured to supply one. You can configure
the format of this number by using Proliance
Local Admin. For details, refer to the Proliance Local Admin on-line help.
Type the title of the deficiency.
Type a description that further describes the deficiency.

Enter the date that the deficiency is reported.
Displays the date that the deficiency is created. This
field is read-only.

Enter the cost amount that the responsible parties would be liable for
if the deficiency is not resolved.
Select Yes or No
to indicate whether this deficiency is in dispute.
Type any comments about the dispute.
Displays the current state of the deficiency.
Select from the drop-down list the urgency of this deficiency.
Select the discipline or trade affected by this deficiency. Examples
of disciplines include: Architectural, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical.
Select from the drop-down list the area or zone where the deficiency
is located.
Select from the drop-down list the cause of the deficiency.
Select from the drop-down list the classification or location lookup
that describes this deficiency.
A Drawing document in Proliance containing information related to this
deficiency. In
Read Mode, you can click the title to view the drawing. In Edit mode,
you can click the Magnifying Glass icon
Type a description of the location of the deficiency in the Reference
drawing.
