Proliance allows you to "hand off" the scope of work identified in a cost event to the appropriate (expense or revenue) committing documents, such as contracts and change orders.
You can choose to hand off to new or existing documents:
When Handing Off Line Items of Type 'Both'
Prior to the handoff, the revenue and expense allocations in cost event line items of type 'Both' are synchronized. During this synchronization, changes made to the expense allocations automatically update the revenue allocations.
After the handoff, the expense allocations can no longer be edited. If you need to adjust revenue allocations after the expense has been handed off, you can add additional 'Revenue' line items and then allocate them accordingly.
