A cost event can have several states in Proliance. Each state indicates where the document is in its life cycle in Proliance. When you perform workflow actions on a document, the state of the document changes accordingly.
State | Description | |
---|---|---|
1 |
Draft |
The cost event has been created but it is not yet active. Any values entered into it will not be included in the Anticipated Cost Report (ACR). |
2 |
Active |
The cost event is in active use. You can assign its line items to a cost account. |
3 |
Closed |
The cost event is complete and no changes to it are expected. Unless you are assigned the "State Read-Only Fields - Cost Event" security role, once a cost event is closed, you cannot change its line item type, modify any numeric value, or change the cost account allocation. |
4 |
Canceled |
The cost event has been canceled. The revenue and expense line items are not allocated to a cost account. Unless you are assigned the "State Read-Only Fields - Cost Event" security role, you cannot edit the cost event. |
