Contract currency precision is the number of places after the decimal that are used for calculations involving currency values in a contract, its change orders and invoices. By default, this value is set to the currency precision of the contract currency, unless it is overridden by the document subtype used to create the contract. If you prefer, you can manually set a contract's currency precision to any value between 0 and 5. Any changes you make only apply to that contract and its related documents and do not affect the currency precision of the defined currency on which the contract currency is based.
