About the Tax Summary Page

The Tax Summary page shows you the total value of the taxes that currently apply to the contract, change order or invoice that you are viewing. It does not include the tax from any related documents. You select taxes for the contract from the Contract - Settings page.

All information on the Tax Summary page is display only.

The page shows the following information for both the committing and non-committing taxes:

• Code: A code that identifies the tax. Examples of a tax code are "VAT" (Value Added Tax) and "GST" (Goods and Services Tax).
• Description: An explanation of the tax.
• Amount: The amount of this tax taken so far against the document, in terms of the contract currency.
• Real Tax: The code of the real tax that was used to create this tax.
