Workspace Cost Settings - Main
The Main page of
the Workspace Cost Settings document
is used by the workspace administrator to activate or deactivate the grouping
codes that form the advanced cost for a cost account.
The following columns of information are shown. The document
must be in edit mode before you can make any changes.
- Preview: Click the Magnifying Glass icon to view the codes available for a certain grouping
code.
Note: In the Grouping
Code dialog box that appears, the following buttons are not
available: "Select None" and "OK". This is because
the dialog box, as used in this instance, is intended to only display
the codes that are available.
- Active:Select the check box to indicate that the grouping code is active in
the workspace. Clear the check box to indicate that the grouping code is
no longer active.
Note: You can
deactivate a grouping code only if it has not been used in an advanced
codes.
- Name: The name of the grouping code. You cannot edit this name.
- Sequence: From the drop-down list, select the position in the advanced code in
which the grouping code should appear. If advanced codes have already
been created, Proliance will alter them to conform to the new sequence.
- Separator: From the drop-down list, select the character that will separate the
grouping codes.
- Advanced Code Must Be Unique: Select the check box to have Proliance disallow advanced codes that
are not unique within the workspace. Clear the check box if you do not require
that all advanced codes in a workspace be unique.
