Archiving a Notice

When you have dealt with the document indicated by a notice, you can archive that notice. When you archive a notice, Proliance moves it from its current register to the Archived register, reducing the clutter in your Received register.

 

Note: You cannot delete a notice—you can only archive it. Notices are simply pointers to documents, they do not occupy much storage space.

To archive a notice

  1. Select the check box next to the notice that you want to archive from the Received, Sent or Undeliverable register.
  2. Click Tools > Archive.
  3. Proliance moves the notice from the current register to the Archived register. This notice may be recovered after it has been archived. For more information, see "Recovering an Archived Notice".
