            Setting the Schedule Behavior
        Use the schedule behavior options to determine the behavior 
 of completed tasks and for task constraints.
        To 
 set the schedule behavior
        
            - Open 
 the Options 
 dialog box.
- Click 
 the Common tab.
- Under 
 Schedule Behavior, 
 set the following options:
                - Set Complete Flag Removes Remaining Part of Work: Select this option to indicate that once the Completed check box is 
 selected in the task, the remaining part of work needs to be set to zero. 
 If this option is not selected, when the Completed check box in the task 
 is selected, remaining work on task becomes the actual work. Select this option to indicate that once the Completed check box is 
 selected in the task, the remaining part of work needs to be set to zero. 
 If this option is not selected, when the Completed check box in the task 
 is selected, remaining work on task becomes the actual work.
- Finish Constraint Resolving Allows Task Start Moving: If a task's duration increases, this increase may conflict with the 
 task constraint. Select this check box to allow the task's start date 
 to be rescheduled to keep within the constraint. If the check box is not 
 selected, the task duration is cut. If a task's duration increases, this increase may conflict with the 
 task constraint. Select this check box to allow the task's start date 
 to be rescheduled to keep within the constraint. If the check box is not 
 selected, the task duration is cut.
- Click 
 OK.
