Making a Link Inactive

Making a link inactive disables the link. This option is useful if you want to see how a planning object link affects your schedule, or if a task has been postponed and you do not want it to affect the critical path.

To making a link inactive or active

1. Open the Gantt.
2. Select the planning object with a resource assignment.
3. Right-click and select Edit Link.

The Edit Link dialog box appears.

4. Clear the Active box to make a link inactive.

Select the Active box to reactivate the link.

5. Click Close.
