Configuring Work

Use the following steps to configure your Work usage curves.

To configure Work usage curves

1. Open Usage Configuration.
2. Select from the following curves depending on what you want to display:
• Current Work: Select Current Work to display usage values for the current schedule.
• Current Actual: Select Current Actual to display usage values for actual resource usage for the current schedule.
• Current Remaining: Select Current Remaining to display usage values for remaining resource usage for the current schedule.
• Approved Work: Select Approved Work to display usage values for approved work.
• Approved Actual: Select Approved Actual to display usage values for the actual resource usage for the approved schedule.
• Approved Remaining: Select Approved Remaining to display usage values for the remaining resource usage for the approved schedule.
• Approved Schedule Variance:

  Select Approved Schedule Variance to display the variance for the approved schedule calculated as:

  Variance = Approved – (Actual + Remaining)

• Baseline Work: Select Baseline Work to display usage values for the baseline work.
• Baseline Actual: Select Baseline Actual to display usage values for the actual resource values for the baseline schedule.
• Baseline Remaining: Select Baseline Remaining to display usage values for the remaining resource usage for the baseline schedule.
• Baseline Schedule Variance:

  Select Baseline Schedule Variance to display the variance for the baseline schedule calculated as:

  Variance = Baseline - (Actual + Remaining)

3. Click OK.
