Finishing a Review Step

When your name is listed as a reviewer in the Review Process page, you will receive a notice when it's your turn to review the document and provide feedback.

Once you are notified, you should ideally complete your review by the Current Planned Finish Date associated with your step. You are free to begin reviewing the document even before your step is active, however, Proliance will not allow you to click the Finish Review button until your review step is active.

To finish a review step

  1. Open the document that you've received notice for.
  2. Click the Review Process page.
  3. Feedback already entered by any of the other reviewers is available for viewing.

  4. Click Edit.
  5. The page enters the edit mode.

  6. Verify that your name is showing next to Reviewer; if not, select it from the drop-down list.
  7. Enter your feedback by choosing the most appropriate response from the Recommendation column.
  8. For more information, see "About the Review Process Page".

  9. Click Finish Review when finished.
  10. Proliance automatically sends a notice to the next user in the review process telling him or her that there is a document awaiting review.

The date when you finish your review is entered as your Actual Finish Date; it is also entered as the Actual Start Date for the next user in the review process.

Note:

  • Your recommendation does not actually change the state of the document—it simply helps the person who initiated the review to gauge overall feedback on the document.
