Custom Print Layout - Main

• Associated: Click the Magnifying Glass icon to select the item that this custom print layout is designed to print. You can select any Proliance document type, for example: RFI, contract, or drawing. You can also select any of the following non-document registers: Notices, Security Categories, Security Roles, Company Roles, and Workspace Summaries.
  
  Each item can have multiple custom print layouts linked to it, but each custom print layout can be linked to only one item.  
• Default: Indicates whether the custom print layout has been selected as the default for a document type or for one of the following registers: Notices, Security Categories, Security Roles, Company Roles, and Workspace Summaries. Proliance sets the Yes/No indicator and you cannot change it here. For more information on setting the default, see "Setting the Default Layout Style".
• Description: Optionally type a brief description of the custom report layout.  
• Layout Type: Indicates what type of file is attached to this custom print layout. Proliance automatically determines the layout type when you attach the layout file. You cannot edit this value.
• Number: Type a string of characters that uniquely identifies this custom report layout. This field is required. You can configure the format of this number by using Proliance Local Admin. For details, refer to "Editing the Number Format" in the Proliance Local Admin online help.
• Title: Type the title of the custom print layout. This title is required.
• Used For: Indicates whether this custom print layout is designed for single or multiple document use. Proliance automatically sets this based on whether the attached file is designed for printing a document or register. You cannot edit this setting.

• Classification Information: Five areas where you can enter a classification for this document. If you use assign a standard classification to your documents, you can use it to search or organize your documents according to these classifications.
• Classification Information Lookups: Select the user-defined values that define this document. These values are created from the Proliance Local Admin.
• Initiative: If this document was created in a workspace, this is the construction initiative to which the workspace belongs. If this document was not created in a workspace, you can optionally select a construction initiative name.
• Notes: An area to enter additional information on this document.
• Sub Workspace: The name for the specific portion of the workspace with which the document is associated. For example, the "Civic Center" workspace consists of five large buildings. Each building is a sub workspace.

Click the Upload File icon to attach a layout file to this custom print layout document. The date of attachment and the file size are shown in the Date Attached column and File Size columns, respectively.

Attaching a layout file automatically removes any previously attached file.
