Sending Currency Information

The following rules apply when you send documents containing currency information to another installation of Proliance:

When sending contract-related documents, both the sending and receiving workspaces must be using the same real currency. Examples of contract-related documents include contracts, invoices, or change orders.
When sending cost control documents, such as cost events or quotes, only the native currency values for line items are sent. This enables the receiving workspace to populate the workspace currency values using its own workspace currency.
When sending documents not related to contracts, both the real currency and the native currency values are sent.

Note:

Proliance only sends the ISO 4217 currency code of a currency used in a workspace. It does not send the currency definition that describes the values of the currency in the workspace. For a list of the ISO codes, visit: http://www.loggie.com/currency.asp.
