Removing a Limit

In the Limits of Authority service, you can remove a limit when you no longer want to restrict a particular document/state combination in a workspace. When you remove the last limit for a document/state combination, every user in the workspace will be able to perform that state transition.

To remove a limit of authority, your security role must have permission to update Limits of Authority. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

ClosedTo remove a limit of authority

  1. Open the Limits of Authority service for the appropriate workspace.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Expand the section corresponding to the document type for which you want to remove a limit.
  4. Select the check box next to the limits you wish to remove and click Remove Line(s).

    5. Proliance removes the limits.

  5. Click Save.
