Limits of Authority - Main

Select one of the following options to determine whether Proliance will allow the associated Roles to override their Authorization Limit and proceed with the restricted state change:

• No Limit: Select this radio button to always allow the associated Roles to override their authorization limit, regardless of the document's value. This is the default option.
• Specify Limit: Select this radio button and then type a value in the Override Limit field to allow the associated Roles to override their authorization limits for documents up to and including the specified value.
  
  The Override Limit must be greater than or equal to the Authorization Limit. This value is entered in the workspace currency.
• No Override Allowed: Select this radio button to prevent the associated Roles from overriding their authorization limits under any circumstances. This offers the strongest protection against unauthorized state changes.

Use one of two methods to select the roles that are permitted to perform the restricted state change for documents within the Authorization Limit:

• Select the All Roles check box to apply the limit to all roles in the workspace. This is the default option.
• Clear the All Roles check box and click the Magnifying Glass icon to select each role you want the limit to apply to.

Note: If a user belongs to several roles which have different limits, the role with the highest limits is used.
