Editing a Cost Event

You can edit the details in a cost event and perform a workflow action on it. Your security role must have permission to edit cost events. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

When you edit one of the columns of a cost event line item, it may affect other calculated values. Review the description for each value in a line item to understand the effect that it has on other values. Note that you may not edit a cost event that is already associated with a contract or a change order.

 To edit a cost event

  1. Open the Cost Events register.
  2. Select the cost event to edit.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Make the necessary edits. Please refer to the following for more information on the fields for each page:
  5. Headings marked with an asterisk (*) are required. All other headings are optional.

  6. Click Save.
  7. Proliance saves the page.

  8. Click Exit Edit Mode when you are finished editing.
