Deleting a Cost Event

You can delete cost events that are no longer used or relevant to your workspace. Your security role must have permission to delete cost events. For more information, see "About Security Permissions".

Note that you cannot delete a cost event with an Active or Closed state. Also, you cannot delete cost event line items that are committed to a contract or a change order.

Deleting a cost event that has line items handed off to an expense committing document will break the links to the Schedule of Value items that were created during the handoff.
