Proliance enables you to create a quote from any workspace document, such as an instruction, contract, change order, or RFI. A quote summarizes the scope of a proposed work along with the cost associated with it.
To create a quote from a workspace document
Open the document that may have an effect on your workspace's budget or expense.
Click Options > Apply to New Document.
The Apply to New Document dialog box appears.
A blank quote appears. Some information may already be filled in, depending on the template used.
Note: Only active companies are listed on this picklist. If the Awarding or Receiving company that you wish to select has not been created in Proliance, click New while in the Company picklist. Enter the required fields and ensure that you activate this company so that it appears on this picklist.
