Cost Event Workflow States

A cost event can have several states in Proliance. Each state indicates where the document is in its life cycle in Proliance. When you perform workflow actions on a document, the state of the document changes accordingly.

Draft

The cost event has been created but it is not yet active. Any values entered into it will not be included in the Anticipated Cost Report (ACR).

Active

The cost event is in active use. You can assign its line items to a cost account.

Closed

The cost event is complete and no changes to it are expected.

Unless you are assigned the "State Read-Only Fields - Cost Event" security role, once a cost event is closed, you cannot change its line item type, modify any numeric value, or change the cost account allocation.

Canceled

The cost event has been canceled. The revenue and expense line items are not allocated to a cost account.

Unless you are assigned the "State Read-Only Fields - Cost Event" security role, you cannot edit the cost event.
