The Line Items page shows detailed information about the line items for the current invoice. Depending on the invoice type, one or two grids are visible on this page:
For invoices created from a pre-commit contract, you can only add line items from existing change orders. For invoices created from auto-commit contracts, you can add new line items to the invoice.
The following table shows the controls on the Line Items page. These controls are only available when the invoice is in edit mode. For more information about editing line items, see "Editing Line Items".

Choose options for releasing retainage. Available only if retainage is used. |

Add a new change order. Available only for pre-commit invoices. |

Add a new line item to the end of the list. Available only for auto-commit invoices. |

Remove a change order. Available only for pre-commit invoices. |

Delete a line item. Available only for auto-commit invoices. |

Update the line items. Available only for pre-commit and auto-commit release invoices. |

Rebalance the values on the Financial Summary and Tax Summary pages of the invoice so that they reflect recent updates to the line items. |

Choose which columns are displayed on the page. You can choose to view All of the line item columns, or the Basic, AIA, or PM Classical line item columns. |

To edit the Line Items page
The Line Items page appears in edit mode.
Depending on the state of the document and your security permission, you may not be able to edit the information in every column.
