Approving a Contract

When you attempt to approve a contract, Proliance verifies that:

• All of the required signatures have been received.

If not, Proliance warns you that some or all of the required signatures are missing. You can then decide whether to continue. Normally, you can only approve the contract once all of the Required signatures have been received.

• (Pre-commit contracts) The original contract value is greater than zero (Contract Financial Summary section on the Financial Summary page).

If the original contract amount is less than or equal to zero, Proliance will warn you when you attempt to approve the contract. You can then either cancel or continue the approval process.

Once a contract has been approved, Proliance still allows you to:

• Delete line items if they do not appear on an invoice.
• Make the Scheduled Amount of a line item on the contract equal to or greater than the To Date Progress Total Amt of the line item from the most recent invoice.
• Edit the inclusions and exclusions on the Scope page.
• Update the list of drawings on the Drawings page.
