Recalculating the Cashflow Worksheet

When you calculate a cashflow worksheet for the first time, Proliance fills in information on the worksheet. When you calculate a worksheet any time thereafter, Proliance overwrites all the information and discards any edits that were manually made to the worksheet. The resulting worksheet has no variance and can be saved.

Recalculating the cashflow worksheet is one way to update the worksheet. The other way is to update the totals only. For more information, see "Updating Totals on the Cashflow Worksheet".

To recalculate the cashflow worksheet

  1. Open the Cashflow register.
  2. Select the cashflow document to recalculate.
  3. Click the Worksheet tab.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Click Calculate Worksheet.
  6. Proliance prompts you to confirm the recalculation.
  7. If this is the first time you've calculated the worksheet in the current cashflow document, you are not asked to confirm.

  8. Click OK if asked to confirm.
  9. Proliance erases the current worksheet and inserts the newly calculated values.

  10. Click Exit Edit Mode when done.

Tip:

  • Since recalculating overwrites any manual edits, make a copy of the cashflow document if you need to preserve your changes. For more information, see "Copying a Cashflow Document".
